I use simple green or car wash soap. Good enough. Inspect the lap sealant for cracks while your up there. That’s important and required roof maintenance.

Mine are usually warmer on one side. I attribute it to sun, weight imbalance, or crown on the road. Since it’s normal and common I don’t worry about it.
