I put 3 inch screws in mine. On one side there was about 5 screws that weren’t even put in and screws that were not in straight. The 3 inch screws I put in tightened everything up nice.

I’m with Grumpy. I’d fix it myself. If you wait for the dealer and continue to use it, and do nothing about the tear, who knows what kind of water damage you could end up with.

It’s not just Jaycos. Other manufacturers dark caps were also fading. The one on our 2015 Jayco TT was repainted during the warranty period.
