I did it for about 6 years. I found I used my TT far more than when towing. It was reasonably close to home so the kids could bring friends. All in all it made sense then. Now not so much.

I also have a SLX 185 RB and tow with a F150. I use no sway control so far and don't feel the need. I've towed for less than 200 miles so factor that in. Let us know how you make out. I love mine.

Just because you can doesn't mean you should. I've been where you are and moving up to a 3/4 ton was an amazing improvement in towing ability. Your unit has a GVW of about 5 tons. IMHO way too...
