I had gas trucks my whole life, I bought a 2011 2500 with a duramax and will never buy a gas truck again! I never thought it would make much of a difference but OMG! I love it! Nothing like climbing...

Theres a one way valve on the city water...
Theres a one way valve on the city water connector on your trailer, take the gasket and screen out of the inlet and u will see the valve, push it in with you finger a few times and try it, sometimes...

It has a 6 speed tranny thats why gm went with the 3.42 gears, it actually will tow more than a 4 speed with 3.73 or 4.10's Def put another tranny cooler on the truck, keep the one u have and piggy...

I had a 07 silverado 1500 with a 5.3. The truck...
I had a 07 silverado 1500 with a 5.3. The truck came with 3.73 gears and I installed 4.10 and I went from 13.5 average mpg to 15mpg! and it def towed better!! I truck seemed to lag through each shift...
