Manual says that this should be used to "avoid excessive shifting" does not explicitly mention it in the towing section (but it should!!)

From now on over drive off...

Following my experience with the transmission overheating (previous thread: Transmission oil all over the place) I bought a scan gauge 2 and went out on another trip.

Had to travel about 4 miles...
