When you store your trailer for the winter do you jack your wheels up off the ground and put it on jack stands to save the tires?

I'm pulling a 28 BHS Jay Flight with a 5.3Liter 1500 crew cab Chevy and am looking for more Horsepower. I was wondering if anyone has used a Programmer and do they help? (Or) Would I be better off...
