Instead of acetone you may want to try white gas...

Instead of acetone you may want to try white gas (camp fuel). It really cleans well and is not as harsh as acetone. This was suggested to me by my rv tech. and it works great.

Check to make sure that particular one will lift your wheel and tire off of the ground. I have one and had to cut a 2x8 to put under it to get the other tire off the ground it just wasn't quite high...

My 2011 jayco 5ver did the same thing. Took it to an axle alignment shop and had it checked for bent axle. All it needed was aligned.
If you do end up putting new axles on you need to have it...
