I assume you have an 110v outlet handy. Why not just plug in a 12v adapter that works for the CPAP? If that's a possibility I would forego installing new outlets.

Not so, you can download a region on Google Maps to your device (phone or tablet) for offline use. We do that regularly for travel in Europe when we do not have a data plan. Works anywhere, though.
