The fan comes on to cool the circuitry doing the AC...

I have the extra table also. My wife sets it up just to the left of the pantry. She likes it there as it gives her more "counter" space. Her main complaint with our X18D is the lack of counter space.

Look at the campground maps. All the commercial places tend to pack everyone close together. My rule of thumb is if a campground has more than 500 sites it probably won't be one I like.
