Peppermint oil on cotton balls works very well. The scents lasts for as long as the cotton balls are thrown out.

Don't put the oil directly on the trailer because the scent will take awhile to...

Similar experience with our Eagle 284. Came from a jay flight 27bhs and the extras make all the difference. New gmc 1500 handles it perfectly with extra leaf.
