I wanted to make that change, and probably should have, but elected instead ($$) to keep...

Got all of the shackles (8) replaced yesterday...

All were worn and a couple more were close to going.

Cushioned Pin Box availability
Have called every RV dealer in about 100 mile radius of where we are (Ogden UT) and along our route through Idaho and Montana.

We hit Ogden Thursday night and ever vigilant Wife noticed front cap seemed lower than usual in relation to Pin Box. Unhitched and setup, then investigated.
Weld on either side of the frame...
