There was no actual "alarm" button on my radio. I had to go into the menu function and select SETTINGS, then the WEATHER BAND sub menu, AUTO ALARM off. That turns off the weather alarm and no more...

I'm glad I found this thread. The exact same thing happens in my brand new 2015 Greyhawk 31DS. Where is the "alarm button"? Thanks in advance for your help.
