I ordered the waterproof sections off amazon and used goralla superglue to hold them up. I now just need to install a switch so I can turn off the upper orange light

Just pull the negative battery wire and tuck it...

Just pull the negative battery wire and tuck it down so it won't touch the positive terminal, you can buy a battery cutoff switch off Amazon for under $30. Just put it inline on the negative line.
