While I agree it looks like you will be overloaded. A full tank of gas is already factored into your 1138lb payload don't add it in again.

Not sure if this will help. Use a 2x4 or similar that will touch the floor. Screw the bracket into the 2x4 then into the reinforced portion of the wall.
