My son in law plugged into the dryer outlet with his rv and his inverter had to be replaced along with his battery disconnect switch

It seems quieter and a little faster on battery only. I think the noise may of been inside the rv. Maybe the inverter? Motor is quiet on the awning.

Awning issue

We have a 2013 StarCraft AR-one 17 RD. The power awning goes out fine but comes in really slow. I have a new battery installed but no difference . Any ideas what to check next? Thanks
