I use 6 years as the "age out" date on my truck tires. Unlike my trailer tires, I usually have to replace them before age 5 due to tread wear.

I replaced the super thin sagging plywood bed platform with 1/2 inch and added supports underneath.

Not sure it would fall in the "cool" category, but it definitely qualified as necessary.

A ceiling fan in an RV is next to useless. Ceiling fan blades need to be 18 inches or more below the ceiling to allow proper airflow and RV ceiling heights are too low to make this practical.
