Mine continuous recycles the water. It’s an Igloo and couldn’t recommend it more highly for continued excellent service. Have used, and continue using, it a lot. Everyday.

Check the seam between your rear cap and the roof. The leak will go down the rear wall and into the floor between it and the bed. Good luck.
