Cracked Frame

A friend of mine had the same problem and it turned out to be the frame in the "goose neck" of the chassis. It had large cracks that you could see opening up when he put the trailer on the truck...

1 ton trucks

I pulled our Northpoint 387RDFS (16,500 lb. rig) 30,000 miles with a Dodge 3500 SRW and never had a stability issue. Much nicer running around without all the extra fender well sticking out!

Solar Install

The curve isn't a problem; the brackets hold the panels up 1-1 1/2". Be sure that you (or your installer) use well nuts. Creates a more secure connection to the roof and seals up better.

Brake settings

On my '16 Ram 3500, I have the brakes set to Heavy and 6.5 for about 13,500 lbs. The exhaust brake does the bulk of the work.
