Ours did this in our Eagle in a few spots mostly along the outside wall. Dealer hired a flooring fella to fix it (warranty). Nice repair and holding up well after 5 months.

Hey..why not cap them?? We only use them once a year and capping might keep dirt from getting into valves and wrecking them.. pretty easy to do this.
