Awning placement aside, we love ours. I'd recommend at least a 1 ton SRW truck. Our payload capacity is 3300 and we're still about 600 lbs overweight. Our total weight was right at 23000 lbs.

Just a reminder on this very old thread... The Whirlpool refrigerator does not need a bypass filter. So if you have that one, you can just remove the filter and winterize.

I agree. An F350 won't cost that much more and you'll have the payload capacity you need. F250 diesels have very low payload numbers.

FWIW, you can often fix the leaky seal with a good cleaning, and then applying some petroleum jelly on the seal. It's worked for us in our 2018 NP. Just a thought.

You won't find accurate payload numbers from any publication. You have to look at the door sticker. Depending on options, the actual payload could easily be 500 lbs less than those numbers.

FWIW, we were told to always use auto high, to prevent the A/C coils from freezing. Whether or not that's true IDK. But that's what we use.
