I had the same problem on a 2020 27RB, ended up being an electrical connector between the LED light and the switch. This was after I bought the replacement LED's on Amazon.

LED lights are not hot at all, they are a lot cooler than incandescent, no reason why you can't use them in marker or brake lights

There are 2 sources of power to this. The green light is lit by the 12VDC power, which runs your electronic control board. This is fed from your fuse box. The 120 VAC runs your compressor and fan.

One thing that I have found in the past is if you aren't level"ish" when you dump there may be leftover grey water left in the pipe. I always drain the black tank 1st and the grey tank 2nd.
