I did this swap also, it will be much easier to do now while it's relatively new and the dicor and butyl tape is still pliable. Get a plastic putty knife and be very careful with the roof membrane....

I'm going to ask what is probably a stupid question, but why worry about winterizing a freezer? I get the fridge water dispenser, but isn't a freezer designed to operate at freezing temps?
