Not that I doubt you, but the title of the part is "RecPro RV Vacuum Breaker Check Valve" so I reasonably thought it might have a dual purpose.

Unless I'm missing something, you can't leave it connected when there isn't a LP tank connected or gas will escape so it'll have to come off when the coach is moved.
