Lot's of previous threads with lots of information. You can find these discussions by using the search function.

Also, visit sticky about what to do on before your 1st outing. I think it's under General Chat.

Best regards,
Doug

We just headed out - First place you hit is the camp store that is usually stocked with the necessary essentials. Then there is always a WALMART/LOWES store close by that carries everything you will need. WALMART even has the food you eat...

Don't throw out your tent camping items - We still use ours all the the time. I consider them my PLAN-B items...

The biggest thing the Tent camping did for us was making the bonfire... Always bring along the Diamond STRIKE-A-FIRE fire starters... Works on any and all bonfires in seconds

One questions you should always when setting your RV us is, do I really need this? If the answer is well we might use it, then most likely it should not be taken.
My wife and myself took over a year of getting it right, stuff came on and stuff came off. One big thing is to have is a little note book while you are rving, for the items
you both think about needing or not needing and writing it down.

Horse creek is in the NE corner of Jefferson County. HORSE CREEK is a real creek that runs thru the area. NE of Mount Vernon and due N of Bluford...

All of my Dad's early ILLINOIS settlers are buried at MOUNT ZION Cemetery in Farrington Township of Jefferson County.
