04 Granite ridge 3100ss

So glad i found this site. After reading many posts I beleive I am in the right place.
I just bought a 2004 jayco Granite ridge 3100ss. I picked it up yesterday and already have a problem.lol. I had the unit plugged in and had the master battery switch connected and all my interior lights worked fine. I came out this morning , turning the battery switch on without the unit being plugged in and got nothing. NO LIGHTS at all. Here is what I troubleshot so far.

Battery volts-13.6vdc
outlet where the Converter plugs in 115vac (When RV is plugged in)
Converter output 13.6vdc ( I assume that is reading the Battery Voltage)
all breakers and fuses are good.
Battery Contactor next to the battery fuses are good.
I can here the contacter "Click" when I turn the switch on.
Started the Gen but still no lights in the coach.
Started the Truck engine and still no lights
I suspect its the Converter but I dont understand why the coach's Aux battery would not supply power for the lights unless there is a relay in the Converter that lets the battery power go through. When the RV is plugged in I have power at all the outlets, TV, Microwave but the Frig does not power up.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Guys.

Try holding the battery disconnect switch in the on position for couple seconds and let it out slowly. Mine would spring back to the off position by itself occasionally.

Thanks quahog. Looking forward to picking all your brains.lol.
Grumpy, I tryed that will no change. I forgot to mention that when I turned the battery connect switch on this morning the lights came on for a split second then went out. I also forgot to mention that this unit has a solar panel on the roof for charging the battery. Not sure if this could cause the problem I am having though. Thanks for replying back so quickly,.

Bring your tweezers... the pickins are slim these days. :hihi:

Keep us informed on your power problem. That one does sound strange.

There PROBABLY is an inline fuse coming back to the RV from the battery.. did you check that one?

Thanks guys for all your imput. After extensive troubleshooting while having a Tech on the phone from the place I bought it from we figured out it was the Battery Contactor not holding. There should be voltage on both Large studs coming off it but I only had voltage coming from: one side. They are shipping me a new one and it should be here within two days. i will update when I install it.
