Hey, everybody. Have any of you cut a pass-thru opening in this wall?
Our plan is to convert the top bunk into a storage area with two access points. First, we'll install a curtain on rails in the kitchen area. Next step is to create an opening in the bathroom wall that gives us a second access point. I'll use a matching curtain in the bathroom. For support I'll add a frame inside the wall cavity, and so that I have a finished edge on the presentation side of the wall I just plan to buy a cheap, dark wood mirror frame of the proper dimensions, remove the glass, then attach.
It feels like I have two studs to work with. There isn't a whole lot of space between them, but it looks like enough to room to suit our needs.
Any thoughts? Thanks..
