My daughters 2006 Jay Flight has a gap along the top of the slide out inside the camper, and partially down the sides, where it starts sealing about 1/3 of the way down, to tightly sealed at the very bottom. Same on each side. Will also not the bottom appears to be going out the correct distance as the slide out drops down right along the edge of the camper floor and is virtually flush.
I cannot figure out what adjustment on the slide, if any, will fix this gap. If I bring the slide in about two inches, where it starts to ride up on the skids and then stop it, the gap looks even all the way around the seal.
When retracted in all the way, the seal looks good all the way around on the outside. I tried adjusting at the end of each rail, where you have a bracket with two nuts you loosen, then loosen the nut on the vertical bolt, then turn bolt to lower or raise the outside of the slide. I kind of knew what the result would be and I was correct. I was able to get rid of the gap inside when extended, but then when retracted, there is a huge gap on the top.
Any words of wisdom?
