I would like to know exactly where the 3 tank sensors are.
I have the black corrugated insulation on the bottom and do not want to just start cutting into it at random.
The tanks must all be as thick as the frame rail.
I really want to know where the fresh water tank sensors are, because it reads full when empty. Since I cannot see the tank at all, I am unable to know how much water is left.
Thank you for your time

Most all sensors are on the sides of the tanks. But you can remove the cover easily on one side and inspect the tanks. The cover is really flexible. So after removing some of the screws in the cross braces and some of the ones along the frame , just pry the cover out from the lip on your I beam for the trailer.

I cannot speak with complete confidence of your year, but with the newer ones the common sensors gets fungus on them if the trailers have sat for any length of time. It may be that you have a wire off too.

This is the type of water tank, which is yellow plastic like, and you should be able to see the sensors and the wires. Make sure the ground wire is attached to the frame.

JayFlight23, Thank you for the reply.
In regards to the water tank, it's right above the tandem axles, and the gas line runs right over the screws holding the black flexible cover. To boot, the black corrugated cover is one sheet, frame to frame. It's stiff enough to where I would probably have to remove the gas line. Hence my wanting to cut the black corrugated cover.

There is nothing wrong with cutting the cover. Its easy to patch back up with backing blocks along the cut seams. Then just screw the pieces back to the blocks, closing it back up.

But you will still need to get to the ends of the tank. Thats where most of the sensors are located. But take a closer look at the wiring . The sensors are just tiny probe with nuts on them at different levels and there is a wiring harness with different color wires that feeds each sensor.

Frankly my current cover needs to be removed. Gravity has taken over the thin coreply , a little sagging between the cross members to the main beams. My previous camper, which is the identical one that I have now, except a year newer did not have one. I did not have a problem with it either.

I actually added an additional freshwater tank along side of my original tank and also added an additional grey water tank behind the axles and into the additional void and beside the original grey water tank and teed it into the pick up and discharge line. I put a selector valve on my second tank so that I did not fill the extra tank when traveling short distances.

That's quite the setup, two FW tanks two GW tanks, I'm impressed!
My last trailer also had the sagging blues down under. This trailer is in great shape, nice and flat underneath. That's why I want to be more surgical in where I cut.
Besides, those 2 axles are right in the way.
