We just purchased a 2008 Jayco Seneca HD. Took it out for the first time and had a great time. However two hiccups. One of the door latches on the basement cargo storage won't keep the door shut. It clicks but doesn't hold the door closed. Any quick fixes out there I can try? Also the trim around the side door came off. It is soft "rubber", but is is painted. How do I reattach it? It looks like you could "click it in place" but it doesn't stay put.

Thanks,

Shannon

On the compartment door you may have to bend the wire loop up a little. I had one that got bent down a smidge and it didn't latch tight. Also the rubber trim sounds like it has been stretched a little. You probably need to remove one of the bottom screws holding it in place and pull it a little tighter before trying to snap it back into place. The other thing that works is to put it in the track and put a little clear silicone along the edges (makes a great adhesive).

Hi Grumpy!

That is great advise. The latch actually secured itself when we became more level!! I will check out the rubber trim this evening. Thank you for the help.
