Just bought this model in great shape last week. Had a pop-up prior to this one so we are new and excited to now be apartthe world of hybrids. We love the floor plan and available space inside.

Still contemplating the following:

1. Where to put 4 bikes? On the rear bumper or over the propane tanks with a rack? Have read a lot of mixed reviews on both.
2. The option of an outdoor burner assembly to fry/ boil outside.
3. Creating some shelves in the rear wardrobe.
4. Painting some rust spots on the bumper.

Any advice, ideas, or suggestions? Thanks

Welcome to the forum!

1. In the back of your truck.
2. I bought a 39,000 btu single burner propane stove from Northern Equipment that plugs right into the QD hookup behind the rear wheel passenger side.
3. My wife's a hanger upper so we don't have shelves...everything gets hung up.
4. Flap disc on a 4.5" angle grinder, prime and paint.

I would put the bikes in the back of the truck also. I don't like using the stove/grill off of the camper hookup.. I like to use a 20lb propane tank so I can move it around I also hook up a grill and a stove as well as a lantern on top of a propane pole...I cook for the family and like to have it away from the camper. I am thinking about putting shelves in my wardrobe area as well.....I would fix the rust.

We love our X23J, perfect layout for us.
When we take our bikes they are in the back of the truck.
We use a camp stove away from the camper with another propane tank.
We hang things up and have found bins for socks and stuff that just fit in the closets and just under our clothes. They are much easier to carry in to pack and load up. We like the hang up space and "drawers".
Flap wheel or wire wheel on a grinder down to bare metal and Rustoleum Automotive spray paint.

We put two bikes on the front and two on the back. I welded up a custom bracket to hold the front rack, if you searched the forums, you likely saw a few pics of it already. I use the Swagman RV 2 bike racks, on of the most sturdy and bounce free available.
