When extending my Dining Room slide right before it gets to the full extended position the slide drops down and 1/2" to 3/4". This makes the upper wiper seal barely touch the roof. It is a rack and pinion track that comes thru the frame. Is this adjustable or something worn past limits? Any ideas? I can get some videos if needed.

What is barely touching? Is it stopping the water from entering the unit? They don't need to have much to keep water out. If the slide is sitting in it's location correctly and level there are no real adjustments. Only suggestion if it's not keeping water out is replacing the seal with something a little bigger to make better contact. But if it's too big the slide will just rip it apart as it comes in and out.

When we bought our rig the bedroom slide (which doesn’t drop down) upper rubber wiper wasn’t even touching the top of the slide. I crawled up there and saw the wiper was stapled on too high. Detached, moved down, and restapled. Done.

Mine does the same thing. Has not leaked on me yet, but a down pour, aimed right, will tell the tale.

Thank you
I’ll look at replacing it.
It has a rip in the corner.
