Hi,

Have a 2018 Jayco 174BH and am wondering if the Factory built in Charger/Inverter system will charge and maintain the batteries or only charge them.

Curious as I have added 2 New Deep Cycle Group 24 - 12 Volt Batteries this year and would like to know if I need a trickle charger in storage when plugged into shore power or will the system "Maintain" the batteries?

Thanks

Welcome to the forum.
RV converters are a very well built battery charger. No reason to buy or connect anything else to it. Especially better that the cheap trickle chargers.
I put a meter on my batteries so I know volts, amps, watts, and usage.
