2018 Jayco hot water tank replacement

My hot water tank burst and I'm trying to find a replacement for it. It was an atwood 91818. Every site says they are out of stock I was told a suburban 91596 would fit and hook up the same but I can't find any photos that show the hook up and am worried it won't work. Any help??

Have you checked Dometic? They bought Attwood.

Are you sure you don’t want to change over to a tankless water heater?
BTW almost all rv water heaters will fit and work in an rv regardless of the model number.

Mine burst last winter and I had it replaced with the new Dometic model. It's more square and I had to get the filler pieces installed for the outside. It worked perfectly all last year, just getting things ready now for the June trip.

I thought about the tankless but I was worried I would not be able to figure it out. Thank you for the advice I have ordered the wh6gea and door and watched a video so Im thinking I will be able to do this!

Good luck with it. The new model has a different drain cap, and I find it much easier to get to than the old one.
