My electric outdoor steps and electric awning are not working. I checked the circuit breakers. Turned them all off, and turned them back on, they still don't work. Fuse maybe, which one?

The awning and steps are 12V DC, so you wouldn't flip a breaker. You'd check the 12V fuses in the converter. That's probably the first place to start. There are some in-line fuses in holders under my coach, by the steps, but I **think** those were steps only fuses. I've not lost power to our awning so I'm not sure.

I have had the switches out of the wall on mine. I'd also be tempted to check for power at the switch with a multimeter. They're not hard to yank out.

I looked at a couple of the 12V schematics that have been shared here and nothing jumped out at me.

I'm hoping someone with direct knowledge will come along soon for you. :)

Thank you both. I looked at the fuses. Not sure which one it is yet, it is not marked Electric stairs or awning. Will investigate. The cab batteries look good. No corrosion or anything like that. I have been plugging the RV in so they are charged. I don't think that is the problem.. I will let you know about the fuses. Thank you.

Do all other 12 volt items work? If not, check your 12 volt disconnect.
Well, turns out I plugged the RV in again and let it sit for a few days plugged in. I opened my door and the stairs came out and then I tried my awning and the awning came out so it must have been the house batteries needed to be charged. I think I may need to get 2 new ones. Thank you for your response. 👍😄
