Need new batteries for our 2018 Northpoint fifth wheel.
First time buying batteries for this unit.
Do have an inverter to run the refrigerator.

Any suggestions or recommendations?

Welcome to the forum!

I like our lithium. Many benefits, lighter weight, more capacity, no maintenance, decent ones have bluetooth control and monitoring.
Drawbacks. Cost, require heaters if using below freezing, on older RV's likely a power converter swap out needed to get a full charge due to a slightly higher lithium charge voltage. You will only get around 80% charge but lithuims don't generally care what charge level they are at. Instead of a converter swap you could buy a stand alone lithium charger to top them off if desired or get some solar panels for the last 20% of charge.
Lots of info out there.

I will second the lithium. You'll spend less on them in the long term over standard lead acid and your back will thank you.

Love my Lithium by Renogy. As above, has bluetooth charge app on phone, no worries about overcharge or battery damage by using 100% of the battery charge. Check your charging system to see if it will charge a lithium. As above, the standard, old style will charge to 80% and then very slowly charge to 100%. I have solar and that always takes it 100%.
Light weight is also a plus and never having to add water is also a great thing. Plus Renogy warranty is good. Battery has built in management and won't allow battery to be overcharged or damaged if charged below freezing temps.

Go to Renogy.com and drop down to "learn " and several understandable explanations of lithium care and feeding.
