How do you access the furnace in a 2018 Pinnacle 38FLWS. The propane furnace in our 2018 Pinnacle 38FLWS will not dependably light. The fan comes on but it does not light every time. I replaced the thermostat but that did not help. I think narrows it down to the igniter or the sail switch. One time when it did not light, I could smell gas therefore I suspect it is the igniter and not the sail switch. There is no discernible outside or inside access to the furnace. How do you access the furnace? Any input is appreciated.

Grumpy, I need to apologize for not responding to your advice with a sincere thank you earlier. Please don't construe me as unappreciative of your suggestions. Although your hint to remove the backwall of the basement passthrough may not have been the magic "easy button" answer that I was wishing for, it is indeed the facts that I am getting ready to deal with today. Thank you for the immediacy and accuracy of your response.

I finally confronted my fears and took the plunge and removed the rear wall of the Basment/passthrough compartment to gain access to the Propane furnace. Turns out that thanks to the cavalier attitude of the assembly and service personnel it was only held in with a few screws and was very easy to disassemble and admire the inherent lack of quality control in RV manufacturing. Took longer to empty stuff out of the basement than it did to remove the wall. Now the problem... I can't see how tp locate or access the ignitor or sail switch. Furthermore I can't tell what the mfg is so I can download a manual. Can anyone help me identify this furnace 2018Jayco Pinnacle 38FLWS

If you don't have an outside access panel (which I don't believe they used on the 18's you have to remove the furnace or at a minimum remove the ducting and slide it where you can access the service panel. When I did mine, I removed the entire furnace, replaced the sail switch and then put it all back after cleaning up the rat nest of wires and water lines that were around mine.
