I'm upgrading to lithium, and trying to confirm my charger/converter will be compatible. There is nothing in my paperwork to describe the model and/or location of the converter. So I have no idea where to check. Anyone know? Can't seem to find it anywhere by google search either.

I have the 2018 31UL. It came with two 27D Harris Deepcycle lead acid batteries attached together in parallel. I was thinking of replacing with one 100AH LI battery but I don’t know if I would need two to match the original lead acids because I don’t know what amp hour they are. Does anyone know what the originals were? I’m guess approx 100AH each so 200AH in parallel. If so should I get two 100Ah LI and attach in parallel or just go with one 200AH LI?

I purchased the LiTime 300 amph battery off of amazon. If you are replacing your old batteries, it doesn't matter.

Yes, my two AGM batteries were only 80amph. That is realistically only 40amph because you can't discharge past 50%. Now I have 1 300amph and I can go down to zero (I only go down to 10%). If I did it all over again, I would buy two, I only had room for one because they are larger than the old batteries. I had a welder just modify my battery tray to fit the depth of the battery. If I did it again I would have had him make the tray wider as well so I could fit two.

Thanks for the info. Do you do a lot of off grid? I never off grid or use the inverter. But I think these are what the slide outs use?? That’s why I was thinking of just going with one 100AH LIpO. Which one on Amazon did you get? I see a lot of different makes

That is impressive. Other than the tray mods and flipping the switch from LA to LI was there anything else that you had to do?

Nope, just make sure your inverter will work with it. I'm sure it will but I checked the manufacturer. The switch was a jumper on the board of my converter. Pretty easy to do once you find it.

This might help.

My 2020 came with 2 6v in series! Bought coach off consignment lot (PPL Houston) and the original owners had it 2 yrs and had 1500 miles on it. Couldn't get the Harris batteries to take a full charge ...... thinkin' with that little use, they may have been "brought back from the dead" once too often. The Harris batteries have some good performance ratings so I called Harris as there are no dealers listed in Denver. They quoted me $532 each plus shipping........ouch. I installed Group 27 AGM Duracells at $234 each. Not Harris, but adequate for my (mostly pole-to-pole camping) needs.

Best...........
