I had asked Jayco where the prep was for the third AC in the 377 and was told the kitchen vent fan area. I would have thought the loft vent area would have been better, however I just confirmed it is the kitchen. I guess the control wire for the Maxxair vent is the same as the one for thermostat so that is one less thing to run.

There is access to both ducts and the 110 wiring is there.

While I like how Tom did his in the loft, this looks like a really straight forward install.

Not for a long while. I need to do the skirting on the front first and get the suspension fixed. Both ACs actually performed really well in 100 degree humid heat over the Fourth of July.

You know it's funny. I was telling my wife about the 3rd AC and wanting to do just yesterday and she seemed to recall a sales man in San Antonio talking about them being prepped for a 3rd AC. I do like the location of Tom's as it spaces things out nicely on the roof. I know has nothing to do with performance but I am strange like that.

Wonder if you can get one of those thermostats that let's you control 2 zones if you use that maxxair wire. That thing is a waste anyway in my opinion.

Does maxxair have a dual zone thermostat? I thought only Dometic.

Not sure about the thermostat was just thinking out loud. Think if I put the AC in the prep spot then I can move that Maxxair fan to the bathroom so my wife will stop complaining she can’t reach the vent.

Thanks for posting this! I had wondered if it was actually wired and access to connect to the existing ducts.

Do any of you know if this also applies to the new Pinnacle's? Was told no when ordered but the brochure stated 3 ac on some models. I ordered the 36KPTS.
If so is there a way to wire it to a separate 30amp cord setup?
