2020 Melbourne 24L Looking to mount box to bumper

Hey guys,

I am looking to mount some sort of box or bracket to my factory bumper that will enable me to store my telescoping ladder on the bumper.

Any ideas out there?

I would have a welder install a hitch to the frame. That would give me the option to put a hitch rack, bicycle rack or other item with a lot of capacity. If the Melbourne already has a hitch then find the specs for it and consider a hitch rack. I would add a trailer hitch damper plate to keep it from wobbling, good for a bike rack too.

I already have a hitch that I use to flat tow. I am looking to add a box to the 4" bumper in addition to this.

The only issue is you don't want too big of a box that will hit the toad when turning.

Edit: I found the first link by searching for "4" bumper bracket" on Amazon. There are a lot more options.

I have seen those. I am looking at something like that in conjunction with one of these

I am in talks with their engineers as my rv has an interesting bumper to frame connection thanks to the geniuses at jayco.

Thank you for the amazon link. I looked into this and one of the items that comes with these is the bumper support brackets. Bought and installed the other day.
