Hi all,

Does Jayco use off-white colored roof membranes? I'm just curious as mine has a beige color to it. I don't think it was ever paper white, but am curious - perhaps it's always been dirty?

Anyway, what material would this be and what would be the best way to clean it? My old camper came with instructions stating to only clean with Spic N Span.

Our 20 Pinnacle has a beige-ish color to it. It is TPO (thermoplastic polyolefin). I googled it so don't think I'm smart. I think that is what Jayco uses. Our last rv had an EDPM rubber roof. I washed it with Murphy's Oil Soap. The TPO roof seems to stay cleaner and not stain like the EPDM. So far I have just rinsed it off with water but ours stays inside when not in use so it is not catching the outside stuff. I did see Camco makes a cleaner specifically for TPO but I've not tried it.

Okay, thank you both for responding. I had just never seen a beige rubber roof before, but I couldn't imagine the sun had changed its color or that it had that much dirt on it, being only two years old.

Too bad I hadn't questioned this last year and tried to find beige-ish eternabond tape for that little patch job I had to perform last year lol
