Never used water pump before and light will not stay lit when switch is activated for pump. It will stay lit when city pressure is on but when changed to dry camp light goes off.. pump not activating.. i am hooked to shore power. Batteries at 13.2 diagnostic code 41. Overload. Thanks!

There's a possibility that the pressure switch in the pump head has malfunctioned, even though you've never used it. If you're a handy DIY type, that switch may be replaceable depending on the brand and model of your pump.

If it was mine, I'd take it out and tinker with it to see if it would come back to life. My thinking is it's already not working, and I wouldn't make it not work any worse.

Pulled pump and put 12v to it with a spare battery. No response.. looks like pump has never been used and not sure why it went bad.. probably the pressure switch but decided to go with a little bit higher flow pump. Hopefully the current 15amp fuse will work. Also, pump factory plumbing makes no sense the way it's looped everywhere but I will assume it's correct unless new pump doesn't work. The inlet hose doesn't look like it goes towards holding tank but probably does somehow

New pump installed "a little higher flow". Pump does come on and pump water for a few seconds and power/ light will shutoff. Can reset pump and pump appears to prime and stop running. Light remains lit. Turn on exterior faucet and power ,/light shuts off..
