So this is a silly issue. Can't seem to get propane to my oven. The stovetop works, Not sure about the water heater as I use the electric one, Furnace definatly does work like a charm but I can't seem to get that propane oven to lite. Any tricks?

Is this the first time you've tried? There is "usually" a screw on the temp control assembly that controls the gas flow to the pilot, that may need to be turned to allow it to light. I say usually, but not always.

It may be behind the knob.

Looks like Ill have to dissassemble some stuff to get to it if thats the case casue I don't see anything like that anywhere. Ugh

It's under the top cover, behind the temp knob or as I said possibly just behind the knob. Pull it off and you may see it right away.

Yeah ill have to unscrew that cover to get access to behind the knobs. there is no access from the top part

What brand of range is it?
On my Atwood, I can pull the top forward just a slight amount and the front will come out of the retainer clips allowing the front to tile up and exposing all the burners and controls.

I can't remember the brand of stove/oven in question, but a while back there was a discussion here about the same issue, The oven knob had to be pushed in FIRMLY to get the pilot to light. I'll have to check for the info on that.

Maybe I'm missing something but is the pilot burning and the oven won't light? Or, no gas at all to the cook top?

Looks like mines a Furrion, only thing i can see to do is remove a few screws. Which I have not had time to do yet

Oven Will Not Light

There is a safety feature on modern ranges. You have to turn the knob to pilot, usually you have to push in on the knob, and hold your match or lighter to the pilot light until the thermo couple is hot enough to release gas and allow the pilot light to ignite. Once lit, continue hold the knob in for another 60 seconds and release. You'll be good to go after that till you turn off the pilot light again. They you go through the whole process again.

And if all that won't work and the pilot won't light, etc...

You might need to change out the range regulator. If the regulator goes out, the cooktop works and the pilot won't light.

Been there. Turned out to be a kinked propane hose under the slide where the arm folds with the hose. I unkinked it with a hose clamp. Simple fix.
