2022 Pinnacle 32RLTS - Cargo Tray Installation

Hi, we bought one of these MorRyde Cargo Trays to install in our pass thru storage area. My husband is worried about drilling holes in the floor - afraid he might hit something running underneath there. Has anyone installed one of these trays in their Pinnacle and did you just follow the instructions? Or do we need to try and figure out safe locations to place the screws? I guess we could call Jayco, but wondering if anyone has done this.

The floor decking is 5/8" thick, I helped a friend install one in his Grand Design and we just used wood screws and a drill to self tap them into the decking. You can't get to the bottom to put a nut on a bolt, so just use screws that won't penetrate the wood all the way and you should be good. We installed his three years ago and it hasn't moved.

Exactly how I installed mine in our Pinnacle. No issues.
