Has anyone purchase a new 2022 Precept? If so dose it have solar, Firefly, and the new tv ant. ? How do you like it ?

We purchased a 36C. Came with solar (doesn't work, needs a replacement wire), Firefly (works great, only has Bluetooth connectivity, wish it had wifi), Winegard Connect 4g 2.0 (TV works but wifi does not, dealer said many come in not working, waiting for replacement).

Yes, we have a 2022 34G we came over from a 2004 Winnebago we sure do like all the new stuff. solar has keep our batteries charged, I like the firefly system., Winegard connect does not work on Wi-Fi, MH in shop now for repairs to that and PDI. I talked with Winegard they said they would send me a replacement I said NO let the dealer handle it. they said a lot of times they use the wrong 12 volts, I always through 12 volts were 12 volts.

Matrix switch

Did any of the 22 Percept's come with a HDMI MATRIX controller and switch

2022 Precept 34G

I also do not have anything like that in my 2022 34G. I can not get my Vegatouch Mira powered by Firefly to work thru cellular, only Bluetooth. Also on the Firefly display my Go Power solar system shows everything 0.0. Watts, amps everything. I know nothing about the system, dealer didn't seem to know much either.

snifrdog My Winegard Wi-Fi don't work either it's at the dealer as I type this for that and the PDI repairs.

We await delivery of our 2022 31UL -- VIN was assigned a couple weeks ago, so I figure it's being built, but dunno how this works. Will follow this thread to see what we should be on the lookout for, once we get it.

Bought new 31UL...16 issues including dead Winegard.

First post on this forum. Bought new 31UL on 31Jan. Found Winegard 2.0 had no SSID (no wifi) and no tv antenna working. Verified Insignia Fire TV would stream (via my home network) and in-cabinet antenna hookup (above dinette) picked up OTA tv signals with the amplifier on and my personal portable monopole (single pole) antenna I use when we travel via car/plane/AirBNB. Also found the "mysterious" blue ethernet cable bound up in the TV storage area. Didn't mess with it. RV is now at the dealership to take care of that issue and 15 more. Good luck to all on this!

Follow-up on new 2022 31UL:

HDMI matrix controller: nothing like that in my Precept. Just four controllers for TV and Sony stereo.

Winegard Wi-Fi and antenna: dealer found wired to "wrong 12v" (like many other new owners.) Fixed - get OTA stations - wi-fi working fine. (Don't they check these things at the factory inspection? Or at the selling dealer?)

Awning and roller tube: something rolling inside and plastic cover missing rear end. Dealer opened tube, removed screw, and replaced cover. (No check at the factory?)

Wiper delay not right: moved a few inches, paused, a few more inches, paused. OK on normal slow and fast speeds. Dealer found mashed pin in connector. Straightened and working now. (Factory drove across country and didn't report this? Or see it at the factory?)

Dinette slide 6 inch wood chunk missing: How? Fixed by dealer.

Quality Control at Jayco factory obviously is spotty or terrible. They need to review their checklists because they are missing the miss-wires, bad connections, and strange noises. Costs them so much more to have a dealer fix. I understand about shipping deadlines (worked in airframe delivery world) but it costs so much to fix later.

FIREBALLXL5, glad your getting things fixed on your Jayco. Your right it would be cheaper for them to inspect and fix before we take delivery. I finally got to use my Precept a few times and still love it. Some minor things to deal with one I have to take back to the dealer three hours away. I washed the roof and found a screw coming up through the fiberglass right above the windshield. I think someone grabbed the wrong length screw.

Hi KTK - sorry to hear that about the roof...but glad you mentioned it. I will look over mine more closely.

Finally got the catalytic converter issue resolved (stolen>after market installed>check engine light>Ford OEM backordered for months>now replaced with OEM and no more check engine light.

And now the engine-storage bay recall comes along...

Safe journeys!
