Last week I drove 636 miles to pick up my new Jay Flight 225MLSW Baja. There were none anywhere in California. I went to AZ because it was closer than MT, UT or WY. This is my 4th RV. In one of my previous RVs the tank capacities were grossly overstated. Because I intend to be dry camping most of the time I wanted to verify tank capacities. Fresh water overflows at 73 gallons, three gallons short of spec. Black and gray are full at 39, both one gallon short of spec. I can live with that. The black tank does not leak even when intentionally overfilled so that the water is a few inches up the pipe from the toilet. The gray tank drips water on the ground before water backs up into the shower. I wish it did not do that. Every other RV I have had would just backup into the lowest drain, usually the shower. 12 volt fridge is running on solar and a pair of 95 amp hour lithium batteries. In the morning the indicator light shows that the batteries are full. My pair of 200 watt solar panels is generating 270+ amp hours per day parked in my driveway. I will be leaving California near the end of June returning for Thanksgiving.
