2024 North point ice maker

We just brought home our 2024 North point today We filled up the water jug as I was told that the water jug uses by the sink and also goes through the ice maker in the refrigerator and water. Turned on the pump on the side of the island by the sink The water comes out the spigot by the sink but there is no water running through my refrigerator for the water or ice maker I have checked the drawer underneath the water is turned on All the drain outlets on the outside of the camper are closed. Please help me Thank you

Since each model may be a little different posting which one you have may help get a more accurate response. If you have a drawer at floor level next to the fridge there may be a valve hidden behind it.

As Grumpy said, we are all a little different. There is a valve, more than likely closed, behind one of the cabinets next to the fridge. I think some , if not all as I have never looked at mine, there may be a valve under the kitchen island behind the false wall. Maybe a North Point owner will chime in with better info

Spot on, there is a valve behind the false wall in the cabinet to the left of the sink and a second valve that varies by model but it is where the water line comes through the bottom of the kitchen slide. Under the TV lift on ours, behind the bottom drawer beside the stove on others.

This is another example of a dealer not checking the trailer and/or doing a thorough walkthrough with the new owner.

We have a 340 CKTS model and a GE refrigerator We did find the water shut off behind the false wall underneath the sink but it was on.

We did do a walk-through but there was no water in the camper and because it's all new appliances for the 2024 it's all new to everyone. The owner's manual for the refrigerator and the owner manual for the camper is useless for any questions or concerns about the refrigerator.

The shut off next the refrigerator underneath the drawer that pulls out to the left of the refrigerator is also on The water comes out on the spigot by the sink for the fresh drinking water I assume that if we put water in the camper and the tank that it would work It's still not working I can hear it wanting to work I did take the water filter out of the refrigerator and there still is no water in the filter either so to me it seems like something is just shut off that it's just does not want to get to the refrigerator

Spot on, there is a valve behind the false wall in the cabinet to the left of the sink and a second valve that varies by model but it is where the water line comes through the bottom of the kitchen slide. Under the TV lift on ours, behind the bottom drawer beside the stove on others.

Does the pump come on when you try to draw water from the fridge?

No The water pump doesn't come on because it's siphoning out of the blue jug I did talk to our Jayco dealer they're coming out tomorrow They figure there's a pinch line somewhere. There are 2 pumps in there. Well I don't hear it anyway even when we use the drinkable water facet. They figure it's from the T by the sink to the refrigerator where there might be a blockage. We did put the slide in thinking that maybe the hose could be kink somewhere and tried it that way but it still is not working. They will be taking the underbelly off tomorrow to find out what's going on.

Well something stupid there was one little point drain open on the outside of the camper which was not letting the water go into the refrigerator but it was enough to make it to the sink. Also the water valve was in the wrong direction behind the false wall but water still came out if the drinkable water faucet??? That's why I didn't hear the pump running. The dealer apologized to us and said they should of went through.

Mine was slow making ice. Turned the freezer down to -6 and now everything is ok

I have my freezer set on five the ice maker is working fine although it only makes six cubes at a time because it's a small ice maker

I imagine it also varies by brand. Our Whirlpool unit is a little monster, and we do work it hard making drinks lol. Sometimes we have to resort to plan B and buying a bag of ice

We don't even use ours anymore. Too much hassle getting it winterized..... We carry a small portable ice maker and usually have bottled water on hand.

Edit: We always had a kink under the slide that was very annoying as well. You'll want to check for that if all valves are on but still no water.

Fridge ice

We have a new 2023 pinnacle with a whirlpool fridge. We we not getting water to drink and very little ice. Had whirlpool tech come and he replaced water housing and filter for the fix.

Congrats on the new Northpoint. We also bought a 2024 Northpoint and had the same issue. Come to find out there is a second valve that needs opened. Ours was located in the cabinet under the island on the left side. We had to remove the panel in the cabinet to access the valve. Hope this helps.

I have the same set up on my Jayco eagle 321rsts have you turned the ice maker on. Pull the tray out there is an off and on switch behind the tray.

Make sure the ice maker is turn on..Ours has a switch on the ice maker in side the freezer.
