23rlsw Hitch Addition?

Triple In Some States and Not Others

I don't think it is legal to double tow with a bumper pull trailer attached to the truck.

Some states allow the second trailer. Check state regulations. Never done it and likely never will due to a lack of power. Neighbor does it with much larger trailers and does well.
I had an Astro van and would not do it. Too much length and weight.

I've done it with fifth wheels and bumper pulls, in legal states and not legal states. I build my own receiver hitches, and wouldn't hesitate double towing at all, provided the set up and weights are just right. When things are loaded and balanced correctly, it will tow straight and safe as can be. I can't say how your set up will tow, but i can say it is doable provided everything is installed correctly and everything is balanced out just right. A fifth wheel is a lot easier, but a bumper pull is doable as well.
