28 BHBE TV mount?

New to the forum and the camper, just picked it up Saturday. I'm going to mount a TV on the turntable deal but how long of a screw can I use without going through it into the mirror? I tried to do some searching but couldn't find anything.

Yeah I cant believe this one didn't. Couldn't pass it up for the money though, the TV is the only thing it didn't have.

I've been searching for the same answer as well. Don't bother sending Jayco an email asking, they will just tell you to contact your local dealer.

I have an email into my local dealer now, waiting to hear back. If I get an answer I will let you know.

I was able to see the thickness of the board behind the mirror by turning the mirror/tv mount 1/2 way out and looking at the bottom, you can see the edge of the back board on mine, its unfinished. I put a 5/8 piece of deck board backer-board on with lots of blue and shallow screws, then used longer screws thru the tv mount, backer board, and the particle board on the trailer.

We have a solid wall now with a TV on both sides of the wall.

Glad you liked it. There were several other modifications that I never put in there. Guess I just forgot. Magnolia Tom has quite the list as well. Might check his out but plan a LONG day reading. Like mine sometimes the thread drifts into conversation it still lots of good stuff. There are several others on here as well.
