We have a 2021 Jayco 284BHS SLX that all of a sudden is having leak issues.

The first one was in the water pump due to non-use.

The second and third are in the outdoor kitchen area.

The first one was under the sink in the black elbow going to the sink and a week later another one where the blue pex line runs behind the slide in sink where the pex clamp is. When we first got the camper we had an issue with the pex clamp under the sink.

Is anyone else having issues with these clamps or water leaks in general with this model?

Any hurdle help on how to avoid future leaks? We are ready to trade in and go with a different brand since the problems are getting overwhelming with this trailer. I feel like we ended up with a "covid built" travel trailer that has been nothing but problems.

We had factory installed solar panels to this day we haven't been able to use even after they replaced the wall unit and we bought a brand new battery.

We also had to have all the wiring fixed under the storage area due to a battery compartment issue covered under warranty due to a manufacturer error.

This doesn't include the recalls.

Frustrated Jayco Owner.

I've had two outside kitchens in my days and really like them once the bugs are sorted out. I had a 2015 27BHS Jay Flight with the sink in a drawer that slid out. Had problems keeping the faucet connections tight and changed how it was plumbed. The post is still on this site if you search for it.

My Eagle doesn't have the drawer so I thought it would be trouble free, wrong... The first fall when it would get cold at night the pex fittings would leak. Jayco loves to use that stupid cheap white flexible line whenever they have to make bends or curves. It's no better than what house sink sprayers use. I hate that stuff with a passion because it doesn't seal well with the plastic pex fittings. It will also blow out if they make it bend too much and kink it. Had a really nice flood under the bed because of that but that's another story. Anyway, I had to chop out that crap back to the hard blue and red pex lines. Then I put push fitting shut offs there and bought regular braided faucet lines to go to the sink.

If you're the first owner of your camper you will have to work on it. They're far from perfect new but with time and patience (and tools) they will get better.

It's not just jayco. Quality control seems to be an issue with almost all of the manufacturers. Maybe a prevost or something similar may have fewer issues.
Am I the only one who remembers jayco making a big deal out of their new quality control line? Just more smoke getting blown up our tailpipe.
