Well...yesterday it was the plexiglass panels that we added to the screen door....today, our order arrived and we have now completed a total makeover of our Whitehawk's screen door.....

1) installed the Camco 43997 Screen Door Grille across the bottom panel..$49.69

2) installed the Camco 43977 Screen Door Push Bar across the top panel....$27.66

btw...we had installed few weeks ago a Screen Door handle on the sliding access panel which allows one to open the outside latch without having to slide back the access panel....a very handy add-on for $19.00.

I believe we've got a more secure entry now and won't worry as much about pets and grandkids or anyone else tearing through the screen.

Very nice job, jtown! I added a pet grill and a toilet handle opener to mine as well. I'm considering the push bar, too. Would come in handy when you're trying to exit the rig with your hands full of burgers/chips/beers. I'm sure some day I'll put my left elbow right through the screen!

I'm sure you've found (as I have) that doing these little mods is often more rewarding than a major home improvement project can be. Something very fulfilling about taking an ordinary, stock trailer and making it your home!

Happy "Modding", and Happy Camping! :campfire:
